Non-profits pursue mission. Mission takes money. Endowments and foundations exist in perpetuity to help fund an organization’s mission.

Our job in managing foundation assets is to grow the principal and generate income, some of which is distributed to the non-profit each year.

We are not strangers to the functioning of non-profit boards and committees. Our staff members provide many hours per year volunteering in such a capacity. We understand the dynamics and sensitivities present within endowment fund committees and boards. This experience makes us better at advising on issues such as policy statements, distribution strategies, and effective communication with members.
